Flight test data handling system for a modern development helicopters poses several challenges in configuring, installation and development of software. The experience during the development of Indian Advanced Light Helicopter “DHRUV” was no exception. Being the first major state of the art Helicopter development programme the challenges have been further compounded and these are described here, together with their resolution.
