'Zanchor' effects on energy absorption efficiencies of a composite structure have been studied. Zanchor is a technology to improve composite structures out-of-plane strength. Results have indicated that Zanchor improves energy absorption efficiencies. Therefore Zanchor is a suitable technology for the crashworthy subfloor structure of rotorcraft.
