NEW ROTORCRAFT DESIGN CRITERIA FOR MAXIMIZED PERFORMANCE AT MINIMIZED VIBRATORY LOADS

The aim of the present paper is to develop a logical reasoning, giving designers the appropriate metrics and tools for 1) enhancing performance when the helicopter is operating close to the limit of their capabilitie and 2) for reducing the high vibration levels characteristic to helicopters. The new metrics will be presented linking agility to vibratory loads.
