A viscous - inviscid interaction (VII) to calculate aerodynamic characteristics and its application for flutter calculation of an airfoil or a wing in turbulent flow has been developed at Institute for Fluid Mechanics (FLM) of Technische Universität München (TUM) as an alternative solution of the Navier - Stokes equations.
