Keywords: multi-lifting surfaces; canard configuration; iterative residual correction principle

The aerodynamic design method based upon the iterative residual correction principle is developed for designing multi-lifting surfaces and coupled with the advanced aerodynamic analysis codes. Using such an aerodynamic design software system, a canard wing configuration is studied and designed. The method and software developed within this work has significant practical value for aircraft design.
