The Unmanned Space Vehicles program (USV), managed by the Italian Aerospace Research Centre (CIRA), is a program, oriented towards future generations of Reusable Launch Vehicles, capable of performing frequent, and affordable launches into space. The USV program aims at the development of innovative technologies for future space vehicles and a selection of these are described in this paper.
