HICAD (Hypersonic Interactive Combat Aircraft Design) is a GUI-based design tool being developed to facilitate the design of hypersonic cruise vehicle configurations. Analytical techniques and simple mathematical models are used in conjunction with multi-variable optimization to rapidly analyze vehicle concepts and their propulsion system.
