This paper is concerned with flight controller design which ensures human-friendly operation through a new method to estimate workload levels. This research carried out manual control experiments which are analogous to longitudinal dynamics of aircraft in the effect of disturbance input. Based on control theory, high-order and two-block pilot models are identified from experimental data.
