NUMERICAL SIMULATION AROUND WING CONTROL SURFACES

Two numerical applications are proposed for the study of wing control surfaces. The first one attempts to predict an aileron efficiency using the patched grid meshing technique combined with a mesh deformation tool to deflect the aileron. The second one deals with spoiler deployment and involves the Chimera technique, which allows the spoiler to be independently meshed for each deflection.
