EVALUATION OF THE POTENTIAL IMPACTS OF HYBRID-ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT ON THE GLOBAL AIR TRANSPORTATION NETWORK

This paper expounds on the application potential of a hybrid-electric aircraft concept using a network-theoretic approach to analyse the impact on the global air transportation network. Results show the ability of the approach to identify the various network role assignments of the concept while taking into account the infrastructure requirements for hybrid-electric aircraft operations.
