This paper presents some NRC risk analysis case studies for aircraft structures using the first and/or limited in-service damage findings. The risk results were found to agree well with the Canadian Force inspection results. Finally, this paper discusses lessons learned and provides suggestions to improve aircraft structural risk assessment.
