Keywords: conflict avoidance; air traffic control

Time to loss of separation can be used to determine whether two aircraft are imminent collision threats to each other. The effect that uncertainties in position and velocity have on estimating time to loss of separation between two aircraft is examined along with several different methods for including those uncertainties.
