HMIAC – SURVEY ON HUMAN-MACHINE INTERACTION IN AIRCRAFT COCKPITS

To assess the effects of the substantial increase in automation of cockpit environments from a pilot’s view, a survey among airline pilots has been conducted, focusing on the topics workload, situational awareness and suitability of checklists, procedures and flight training. The results of more than 120 responses are presented.
