As environmental constrains increase, hybrid-electric power is advisable because of the electric power potential advantages. Consequently, the aircraft/rotorcraft design process has to be upgraded when compared to the traditional one. In this paper an accurate sizing model is proposed to account for the differences when using hybrid propulsion configuration.
