Keywords: morphing wing, warping, buckling, energy reduction

A morphing wing is optimized to achieve roll control as well as low drag production and minimum energy consumption. The optimized wing is then manufactured and wind-tunnel tested with good agreement against computational results. The manufactured wing is then mounted onto a small UAV to assess its airworthiness characteristics.
