EVALUATION ON DISCRETE SOURCE DAMAGES OF CFRP STIFFENED PANELS

This paper describes evaluations on discrete source damage, known as a two-bay crack, in CFRP three-stringer-panels. The damage was introduced into the panels by an artificial engine debris penetration test. The residual strength test was also conducted to verify the damage-tolerance capabilities of the panels.
