Ride comfort is improved for personal aircraft piloted by less-skilled owners or renters. The lecture describes the new discomfort index, active control limitation, improved turbulence load smoothing and integration of the ergonomic and psychological factors into the ride control development. It shows results of EU supported projects EPATS, PPLANE, SATS-Rdmp.
