The purpose of the work was to redesign the helicopter fuselage so as to improve its aerodynamic and geometrical properties. The work was performed using Direct and Numerical Optimisation based on the Genetic Algorithm and the morphing technique. CDF calculations concerned the complete helicopter including main and tail rotor influence.
