A numerical study on the ground effect around high aspect ratio airplane is done using commercial CFD software FLUENT. Aerodynamic characteristics of lift, drag, and pitching moment about vehicle on ground effect and free air are compared. The result of predicting ground effect using ESDU and Aerospace Handbook is added.
