This paper analyzes the boundary of attack angle and obtains attack angle’s design envelope for lifting entry vehicle. The entry flight is discussed as equilibrium glide phase and initial diving phase respectively. An application is given and simulation results show that the proposed attack angle trajectory satisfy path constrains.
