Within the DLR-project GroFi the Center for Lightweight-Production-Technology in Stade implemented for the first time a laser triangulation sensor for the online path correction in the Advanced Automated Fiber Placement Technology. This enabled the possibility of real-time control of the production quality and the detection of significant process parameters.
