Wind tunnel test investigation was carried out on a morphing flap, which has smoothly spanwise-changing flap deflection angle and fowler motion. Aerodynamic force measurements and noise survey results by microphone-array show that the morphing flap suppress flap edge noise and reduce overall noise level compared with conventional single slotted flap.
