LCF BEHAVIOR AND LIFE EVALUATION OF A SINGLE CRYSTAL NICKEL BASE SUPERALLOY UNDER DIFFERENT DWELL CONDITION

LCF tests were conducted at elevated temperatures under different dwell conditions on a single crystal nickel base superalloy with [001], [011] and [111] orientations. The cyclic deformation features were analysed and a lifing model was proposed to evaluate the fatigue life. The prediction agrees well with experimental results.
