Keywords: aircraft sequencing

Scheduling of arrival aircraft considering aircraft size and terminal area waypoints is investigated. A new rule for reduced fuel burn is proposed. The differences between the optimal arrival sequence, “first come, first served” scenario and the proposed rule case are verified through Monte-Carlo simulations.
