Keywords: product family design, agent based simulation, data mining

This paper investigates a methodology to design a family of unmanned aircraft by leveraging product commonalities found using data mining on a generated database of designs. An agent-based modeling approach is integrated with system models to evaluate the effectiveness of the aircraft family in performing complex system of systems missions.
