A PEG-BASED ASCENDING GUIDANCE ALGORITHM FOR RAMJET-POWERED VEHICLES

A general PEG algorithm has the advantage of not requiring intermediate position and velocity and generates vehicle’s pitch command to accomplish minimum time guidance to reach final orbit requirements. In this paper we applied a modified PEG algorithm considering additional aerodynamic terms to supersonic engine missile guidance.
