During the transition of tiltwings an interaction between thrust and aerodynamic forces and moments at the wing pose challenges for modeling and developing control strategies. In this contribution windtunnel tests to obtain coefficients and derivates characterizing the transition phase are described and analyzed. First free flight results are described briefly.
