HIGH ANGLE OF ATTACK FLIGHT CONTROL OF A TAIL-SITTER UNMANNED AIRCRAFT

The prototype of a tail-sitter mini unmanned aircraft had a poor margin in the pitch angle control in high angle of attack flights. To explore an improvement of the pitch control, flow visualization via particle image velocimetry was conducted. Based on the result, the improvement was discussed and demonstrated.
