Keywords: aircraft noise modeling, auralization, virtual reality simulation, interdisciplinary collaboration

An interdisciplinary approach is used for a virtual reality air traffic simulation through which both aircraft noise and emissions produced can be more subjectively assessed. A consistent dataset of flight data plus noise and emissions combined is used to assess the impact on the ground in airport vicinities.
