A PRELIMINARY CFD INVESTIGATION ON REAR FUSELAGE SUPPORT CORRECTION

Support interferences for a civil transport aircraft model in wind tunnel tests are investigated using CFD approach. The pressure distribution on the HTP (horizontal tail plane) and the rear fuselage are found to be mostly influenced. For configurations with different HTP deflections, different interference correction should be determined and applied.
