CFD BASED AEROELASTIC CALCULATION OF PROPELLER LOADS

Accuracy of CFD coupled to CSM to predict the shaft 1P loads and the harmonic blade shank loads generated by a modern high speed propeller is investigated. Calculations are performed for uninstalled and installed conditions, and for rigid and elastic blades. Results are compared to wind-tunnel and flight test data.
