Sustainable optimisation of civil aircraft interior installation requires holistic procedures for defining new cabin integration concepts. Modularisation incorporates all product life phase requirements into cabin development. Further methods, such as design for assembly or key figures, are applied for concept elaboration and assessment. The entire approach is presented by examples.
