Keywords: time-accurate, actuator disk, propeller, slipstream, interference

Time-accurate approach and actuator disk theory are compared on simulating of propeller slipstream flows and its interference with wing. Unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes equations are solved for time-accurate results by finite volume method based on dynamic-patched grids, while steady state is approaching using actuator disk theory on point-to-point multiblock grids.
