Keywords: intergranular corrosion, aluminium, hydrogen peroxide

Intergranular corrosion is a particularly insidious form of localised corrosion, with small initiation sites meaning it is difficult to detect. Due to its nature, the fatigue effects of IG corrosion are relatively unknown. This paper discusses a fatigue life prediction model for intergranular corrosion in fastener hole coupons.
