A quasi-steady-state power-system model has been developed in the Matlab/Simulink environment to simulate the performance of a hybrid-electric propulsion system suitable for a small tactical UAS. Here, preliminary results are presented for a power system consisting of a fuel cell, a lithium-polymer battery and a photovoltaic array.
