This paper shows recent developments of an air traffic profile scheduler; i.e. a non-linear interior point optimizer designed primarily to cater for user preferences in trajectory planning and the fuel usage therein, using fundamental air traffic separation modes and other aircraft performance limits as constraints on the schedule.
