Experiments of compressible flow through axisymmetric convergent nozzles have been carried out to investigate flow choking phenomena. Also, a flow model is proposed to calculate choking criteria of convergent nozzle flow. Experimental results for the choking pressure ratio agree well those calculated by the present flow model.
