COMPUTATIONAL STUDY ON THE INFLUENCE OF COANDA JET ON AIRFOILS: TWO-DIMENSIONAL CASE

Two-dimensional Coanda jet to enhance lift is computationally studied. Rounding-off of the trailing edge proves to be convenient and effective for L/D increase. Novel coanda jet design with respect to airfoil and boundary layer dimensions are presented. Favorable L/D can be obtained for appropriate configurations.
