The size of small UAVs makes them susceptible to gusts, hence an evaluation of their aeroelastic performance is a necessary requirements. Advances in materials, new aircraft are lighter and more flexible. An experiment to evaluate the aeroelastic performance of a 2D chord-wise flexible structures under gust loading.
