A BASIC STUDY ON EFFICIENCY IN JAPANESE AIRSPACE

In this paper, efficiency in Japanese airspace is studied. Exploiting BADA and actual radar journal, fuel burnt on some principal routes is estimated as the efficiency index. From the estimation results, the possibility that the potential efficiency resides mainly in the terminal areas was implied.
