Keywords: cfd, high-lift configuration, trapezoidal wing, aerodynamic design

The paper presents 3-D simulations over a trapezoidal wing with flap and slat, in order to assess the capability of simulating high-lift configuration flows. Different mesh methodologies, such as overset, structured and hybrid unstructured-structured meshes, as well as turbulence models are evaluated to define guidelines to best capture aerodynamic coefficients.
