This paper provides principal results of stability analysis on JAXA’s natural laminar flow wing design concept in supersonic flow under ONERA-JAXA joint research program. Both parties analyzed stability characteristics of JAXA’s flight test vehicle applying ONERA’s new analysis method and focused on making clear its physical mechanism.
