FLEXIBLE WING AERODYNAMICS AT LOW REYNOLDS NUMBERS

Experiments are performed on various configurations of flexible-wing Micro Air Vehicle. Specifically, wind-tunnel testing of low-aspect ratio wings at low Reynolds number is conducted. The design parameters varied are: batten arrangement, skin material and flexibility. The decision indicators are: aerodynamic coefficients, dynamic stability derivatives, propeller effects and flight performance parameters.
