In this paper, one of morphing technologies: leading/trailing edge deformation technique on one of the natural laminar flow aerofoils (RAE5243)is considered to reduce transonic drag. The paper illustrates the potential morphing technique for flow control as a near future aeronautical technique to be used in a civil aviation.
