Keywords: composite manufacturing, manufacturing deformations, spring-in, compensation, cfrp

Manufacturing composite structures with high dimensional fidelity is one essential issue in aircraft industries. A semi-analytical simulation strategy will be presented focussing on elimination of Spring-In deformations due to appropriate tool compensation. Experimental and numerical investigations will be presented. Finally, the strategy is demonstrated and verified for a relevant geometry.
