One active research area of autonomous systems is the application of individual rule based behaviour leading to self-organization. Information theory has been used to describe UAS tasks such as surveillance, terrain navigation and intelligence gathering. We investigate a UAS carrying out searching and tracking ground targets through information theoretic approach.
