This paper presents the multiple phase lagged approach which has been implemented in ONERA’s CFD software elsA. The method, which enables to perform unsteady simulations on multistage turbomachinery configurations including multiple frequency flows, is presented and evaluated on two quasi three dimensional multistage turbomachinery applications.
