AUTOMATIC GRID GENERATION FOR ACCURATE NAVIER-STOKES SIMULATIONS

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Research Center of Computational Mechanics, Inc. (RCCM) are developing a grid generator “HexaGrid” that can automatically generate hexahedral grid around complex geometries and enable accurate Navier-Stokes flow computation. The Cartesian-prismatic hybrid grid produces results that come quite close to those of manually generated grid.
