Duty cycle is important to the design of an electric actuation system. Confidence Bounds allows the duty cycle to adapt to the random and uncontrollable variables like pilot, weather, etc. The electric actuators can be sized and optimized in terms of appropriate loading, rate, weight, cost, power consumption, and life.
