As part of study on remaining life and residual strength of corroded aluminum alloy structures, effects of pitting corrosion on fatigue, large and small crack growth behavior of aluminum alloy 2024-T62 and its panel were studied experimentally. The effect of pitting corrosion on fatigue life were predicted.
